Neena Laskowski didn't fall in love with reading until she started writing her own stories in fourth grade, when she realized reading would improve her writing.
She earned her Master’s in Secondary Education and Bachelor’s in English and Classical Studies from the University of Michigan. After teaching middle school English for a few years, she decided to pursue her life-long passion for writing.
When she is not writing morally grey heroines or working her day job, she can be found camping with her husband, starting a random house renovation she found on TikTok, cuddling with her dog and cat on the couch with a good book, painting with a glass of wine in hand (and hoping she doesn't mix her paint water with her drink), or spending quality time with her friends and family.

Sarah Glenn Marsh has been an avid fantasy reader and Tolkien enthusiast from the day her dad handed her a copy of The Hobbit and promised it would change her life. She’s been making up words and worlds ever since, and is now an author of books for kids including the How to Spot a Fairy series; books for teens like the Reign of the Fallen duology; and romances for adults, including the forthcoming Our Rogue Fates, out April 28th, 2026 from Alcove.
She has also written for popular franchises including Star Wars and Critical Role, as she loves digging into the sandboxes of her favorite worlds.
When she’s not writing, Sarah frequents the pottery studio and raises awareness about her autoimmune disease, Type 1 diabetes. As a queer person, Sarah is also passionate about seeing more and better representation in all forms of media; we all deserve happy endings.
While her favorite place to be is Ireland, Sarah currently lives in Richmond, Virginia where a tiny zoo of four rescued sighthounds, three birds, a turtle, many fish, and one adorable toddler—not to mention her garden—keep her and her partner plenty busy.

Inspired by her love of Marvel, sci-fi, old Taiwanese dramas, and ridiculous anime, Judy scribbles mini-stories wherever she can (and subsequently forgets them!). She graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas, studying history, Asian studies, and education. Judy is not unfamiliar with extensive writing, having published multiple pieces. She spent some time living in rural Japan before working in the legal and compliance sphere. With her debut novel The Vending Portal, Liu hopes to meaningfully add to Asian American literature to further enrich the YA genre.
Outside of work and writing, Judy enjoys dancing with her teammates and friends, exploring unknown spots or cities, caring for her plants, and making nonsense sounds to her sister.
