Author Interview: Sierra Simone
Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we got to chat with Sierra Simone, author the Priest series, The New Camelot Series, The Lyonesse Trilogy, and more!
Sierra is a voracious reader of all things including the smuttiest smut, piles of non-fiction, and old-timey books with brooding widowers. She loves writing the dirtiest things that she can think of, and also: King Arthur, sparkling water, ancient mystery cults, coffee, leggings, and fog.
Her previous jobs have included firing ceramics, teaching living history lessons in one-room schoolhouse in full, 1904 school marm attire, and working in a library for several years (not in that order).
Her novels have been published in Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, and Ukrainian. She's been featured in Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly, Marie Claire, and Library Journal with a starred review.
She lives in the Kansas City area with her husband, two children, and two giant dogs.
Listen in as we chat more about Sierra’s books, her co-author books, and her upcoming projects. Be sure to follow her @thesierrasimone

Author Interview: Julie Olivia
Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we got to chat with Julie Olivia, author of The Honeywood Fun Park series, Never Harbor series, and the recently re-released standalone If It Makes You Happy!
Julie Olivia writes cozy love stories filled with humor, spice, and close friend groups that feel like a warm hug. She is a roller coaster fan, avid romance reader, and rainy day enthusiast. Before writing romance novels, Julie moonlighted as an illustrator and worked in Human Resources, in which she still maintains a SHRM-CP certification. However, she decided writing about office romances where they break all the policies was far more enjoyable than enforcing them. Julie lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and their very opinionated pets.
Listen in as we chat more about Julie's books, rainy days, and great banter in romance books! Be sure to follow her @julieoliviaauthor

Author Interview: Mazey Eddings
Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we got to chat with Mazey Eddings, author of A Brush With Love, Late Bloomer, and the recently released Well, Actually.
Mazey Eddings is a bestselling author, dentist, and (most importantly) stage mom to her cats, Yaya and Zadie. She can most often be found reading romance novels under her weighted blanket and asking her husband to bring her snacks.
She's made it her personal mission in life to destigmatize mental health issues and write love stories for every brain. With roots in Ohio and Philadelphia, she now calls North Carolina home.
Listen in as we chat more about Mazey 's books, unicorn authors, and representation in romance books! Be sure to follow her @mazeyeddings

Author Interview: BL Cagle, Jacci Prior, & Anthony Palamini!
Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we got to chat with B.L. Cagle, author of The Dreams Series, as well as her narrators Jacci Prior and Anthony Palmini.
B.L. Cagle is a small-town girl from Lewisburg, Tennessee. She is a daytime “vampire” and works alongside some very wonderful doctors and residents. When she's not writing or reading, you can find her on the trails riding her RZR with her family, or at muscle car shows.
The love of writing (something she shared with her grandmother) began in the 4th grade after winning a short story contest, and has continued writing short stories and poems for her family, and friends. After having recurring dreams/nightmares (and still does) she began writing them down, turning them into a chilling tale leading into the paranormal world, and how dreams can overtake the mind.
Jacci Prior is a classically trained musician turned voice actor, who brings musicality to her performance. She is a PNW native and narrates a little bit of everything. She is best known for narrating dark and gritty fantasy romance titles. She loves books that rip your soul out and put you back together. Jacci's background is in classical guitar performance and instruction, as well as in art history and gallery management.
Anthony Palmini always knew he wanted to be in the entertainment business. From playing tunes from his favorite movies on his tiny piano or recording home movies with his toys, Anthony’s life was consumed with trying to tell a great story like the ones he saw on the big screen. He has composed music for independent films, assisted editing for tv shows on a major network, and directed videos for promotional videos. You also might know his as the voice of Rhysand & Quicksilver.
Listen in as we chat more about B.L.’s books, how she works with her narrators, and our nerdy and dirty speed rounds. Be sure to follow all of them at @blcaglecreativewriter @antpalmini and @jaccipriornarrator

Author Interview: Megan Montgomery
Hello, fellow nerds! This week we sat down with Megan Montgomery, author of Morgue to Love and The Remains of Christmas!
Megan Montgomery is a multi-award winning author of steamy, smart, character-driven romance. Her debut novel, WELL...THAT WAS AWKWARD, described as "a big, juicy bite of Chesapeake Bay culture," was inspired by her homesickness for southern Maryland.
Megan now lives among the cornfields of Illinois with her family--but don't ever mistake her for a Midwesterner. A goth at heart since age 12, she loves the color black, Mozart's Requiem, and the history of death and burial rites.
When she’s not writing, reading, or cooking dinners her son won’t eat, you’ll find her volunteering at the library or the medicinal herb garden, or cackling over a cauldron during a full moon.
Her books have received the B.R.A.G. Medallion, Best Indie Book Award for romance, the Indie Reader Discovery Award for chick lit, the Rudy Award for contemporary romance, and were finalists in the Page Turner Book and Screenplay Awards, but she's most thrilled when she makes personal connections with readers.
Listen in as we chat more about Megan’s books, medicinal herbs, and her other upcoming projects. Be sure to follow her @meganmontgomerywrites

Author Interview: Hannah Whitten
Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we got to chat with Hannah Whitten, author of The Wilderwood duology and The Foxglove King!
Hannah Whitten has been writing to amuse herself since she could hold a pen, and sometime in high school, figured out that what amused her might also amuse others. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, making music, or attempting to bake. She lives in Tennessee with her husband and children in a house ruled by a temperamental cat.
Listen in as we chat more about Hannah’s books, her baking, and her other upcoming projects. Be sure to follow her @hwhittenwrites

Author Interview: Kate Gateley Returns!
Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we welcomed Kate Gateley back to the podcast, the author of the Lost Wells Trilogy and the newly released Shadow of the Yew Tree!
Author Kate Gateley writes at her small Cowichan Valley farm on Canada’s beautiful Vancouver Island, where she lives with her one amazing husband, two fantastic sons, and a constantly evolving number of canine, feline, and aviary companions.
With three published books, two Canadian Book Club Award wins, and three shortlist nominations under her belt, Kate celebrates the evolution of The Lost Wells trilogy into something that she dearly hopes can one day find a cherished spot among those volumes of both contemporary fantasy and historical romance novels that so inspired her growing up.
When Kate isn't reading, writing, or wrangling children and animals, she enjoys time in her "hobby library," which includes any number of creative side quests. Kate prefers not to wear socks, drinks too much coffee, and forever falls for the cinnamon roll hero.
Listen in as we chat more about Kate’s books, crafting Ronan’s story, and her other upcoming projects. Be sure to follow her @kategateleyauthor

When she isn’t creating, she’s watching cat videos, petting dogs, having dance parties in the kitchen with her daughter, or pursuing her many creative hobbies.
