Bonus Episode: Author Tristin Clark
Happy Saturday, nerds! This week's bonus episode is with author Tristin Clark! We had the pleasure of meeting her at Imaginarium Book Festival and cannot WAIT to hang with her there again in 2024!
Background on Tristin: As a dark, adult, sci-fi fantasy, paranormal, and contemporary romance author, Tristin writes about tragic lives of soulmates, how they overcome their trauma, of their fight to be together, and claim their happily ever after through a world which wishes to see them apart. Born and raised in southern Texas, Tristin Clark currently resides in Philadelphia with her soulmate and two precious kitties, Shadow and Peppa. Tristin enjoys traveling, painting, and telling heartbreaking, tragic, yet beautifully romantic and sizzling stories of soulmates coming together from far beyond the galaxy, across magical worlds, in different celestial realms, as well as in modern day life. Though to reach the end of the road to an happily ever after for her lovers, will never be an easy task. As a dark themed author, Tristin’s work focuses on character trauma, how they choose to overcome their inner demons, and of their fight to be awarded the right to spend forever with the one destined to claim their heart and soul.
Reader beware: her dark stories are not for the faint of heart, nor are they for those who feel uncomfortable with descriptive and taboo sex scenes, vulgar language, blood and gore, murder, sexual assault and suicide ideation.

Bonus Episode: Author Kate Gateley
Hello fellow nerds! This week's bonus episode is with author Kate Gateley, with whom we will be with at Imaginarium Book Festival this weekend!
Background on Kate:
With a B.A. in Linguistics and a B.Sc. in Physiology from the Univ. of Saskatchewan, Kate Gateley has always been fascinated by history, Celtic Ideology, ancestral memory & generational wounding, and the “Divine Feminine,” and those personal studies continue to influence every aspect of her life. When Kate published her first book, Tides of the Sovereign, she knew that it was only the beginning of a story she has always wanted to write—one with heart and meaning that was actually worth sharing. In December 2022, the book was announced as the winning title in the Fantasy/Sci-Fi category of the Canadian Book Club Awards. Continuing now in Book Two, Mantle of the World Ruler, and beyond into the next volume still to come, that story has grown far beyond what she could ever have imagined … into something that she dearly hopes can one day find—and deserve—a cherished spot among those volumes of both contemporary fantasy and historical romance that so inspired her growing up. Kate currently lives on a small farm on beautiful Vancouver Island, with her amazing husband, two incredible sons, an adorable dog, several barn cats who don’t earn their keep, and some decidedly ungrateful chickens…all of whom are very dearly loved.
Listen in as we find out more about Kate, her “Lost Wells Trilogy”, what she's currently reading, and her fave fandoms. And be sure to follow Kate at @kategateleyauthor

Bonus Episode: Author Natalina Reis
Happy Saturday, nerds! This week's bonus episode is with author Natalina Reis, who believes in writing romance for the misfits, the outcasts, and the lovers unafraid to go against the grain.
Background on Natalina: Natalina wrote her first romance in collaboration with her best friend at the age of 13. Since then she has ventured into other genres, but romance is first and foremost in almost everything she writes.
She worked as a tourist guide in her native Portugal for a short time before moving to the United States. She lived in three continents and a few islands, and her knack for languages and linguistics led her to a master’s degree in education. Natalina weaves all these experiences into her stories, both contemporary and fantasy.
Romance fascinates Natalina because of its message of hope. Love is after all the one thing everyone, no matter who they are, needs and craves for, so what could be better than a story where the main characters get their happy ending?
Natalina doesn’t believe you can have too many books or too much coffee. Art and dance make her happy and she is pretty sure she could survive on lobster and bananas alone. When she is not writing or stressing over lesson plans, she shares her life with her husband and two adult sons.
Listen in as we find out more about Natalina, what she's currently reading, and her fave fandoms. And be sure to follow Natalina at @reisnatalina.
